Doxorubicin (DOX)

Doxorubicin is a chemotherapy drug intended to slow or prevent the growth of new cancer cells. Its use often leads to side effects like pain at the injection site, a drop in blood counts, hair loss, nausea, and sores.

It is often remembered vividly for its color, a deep red, and its tendency to cause the patient’s urine to change colors to a vivid shade of yellow, orange, or red.
